Saturday was the first day Rich had seen each other all week, so we decided to go out and have some fun.
They have such a nice, peaceful patio area and the food is light and fresh.
For starters, we split the Hummus and Olive Tapenade Plate
I had the 1/2 salad, 1/2 sandwich combo with the Veggie on Foccacia and the Spinach Walnut Salad. The salad is my favorite. It comes with a maple dressing that is so tasty!
After dinner we went next door to Cold Stone Creamery.
What a treat!
I indulged a bit more with a mixture of cinnamon and chocolate ice cream, with chocolate shavings and butterfinger mixed in. All of which was nestled in a delightfuly chocolately waffle cone. Yummy
As we ate our ice cream, we roamed around Aggieville and headed into one of our favorite shops, Acme Gift.
They have fun novelty items and coffee table books, t-shirts, accessories, and even floral services.
We had so much fun just exploring the store and got wrapped up in looking at a few very funny books:
As the evening was almost through, we headed one last place...
Target
What date night would be complete without a trip toTarget?
We didn't buy much, just some essentials, like underwear ;)
It was so great to spend some time with the hubster and I can't wait to see him again this weekend! Another date night, perhaps...
I am happy you guys could have a fun night out for a change. But I don't imagine Edgar was to happy to have to stay at home, sometimes it is hard to believe that 3 can be a crowd (what about me and my puppy needs?). Love the idea of ice cream and as you and I know both know, you can't go wrong ending your outing a Target!! But poor you they have no StarBucks. Love you both.
