Yesterday was Konza Prairie Biennial Visitors’ Day and I had big plans. There were so many activities there, including a bison driving tour, hay wagon prairie tour and a few hikes. Did I get to partake in any of these activities? No.
This ruined the day, well the activities at least. It was still a fun day.
After the rain and lightning came through, things cleared up a bit, so Rich and I took to the public trails that are open on a regular basis because it was too muddy for the bison and hay wagon tours.
By the middle of the day we were pretty moist and mushy. We headed home to dry off and relax for a while and then finished the day off with breakfast for dinner at the IHOP. Nutella crepes... Mmmmmm
Love the pictures of the clouds and also the sun flowers. Beautiful. I was hopping Rich would het a picture of you in there. What no photo ops at the IHOP?!?!?! Glad to see you got to get out and enjoy the weekend. Love you both. Mom
