Happy 1-1-11

It's a new year and I rang it in with a good friend, fine dining, and a dirty martini! We started off the evening at 4 Olives where we were treated to amuse bouche, sushi rolls, rock lobster with parmesan risotto, and a decedent sixteen layer chocolate cake. (although I only counted six)

Yeah. I ate all of mine. It was good! (notice scrape marks on plate in an attempt to savor every morsel.) Michelle just couldn't keep up I guess.

After dinner, Michelle and I went to Blackstone Tavern to enjoy a few cocktails and have a champagne toast. (Richard would tell you it's sparkling wine, but whatever) FYI: Champagne is best enjoyed in plastic bar cups, expecially when it is spumante.

To kick off 2011 I am starting my photo blog on 365 Project. It will be another outlet for me to share photos of Edgar, artistic shots, Edgar, plain ol' candids, Edgar, and anything I find intersting really. It's actually just another excuse for me to inundate you with pictures. I can't help myself, I'm addicted! So whenever you want to check out the photo blog, just pop on over to the links page, which will be listed at the top of my blog alongside Edgar and Macy's, and take a peek.

!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Happy New Year!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  1. Dinner looked fabulous!!! How was the dirty martinti? I tried one once and didn't care much for it, to much olive juice for me, give me my Pomagrainte Martini at Bricco's any day!!! I had a philli sushi roll at Pai Tai, very good, your grandmother had sea bass, but unfortunatly no to die for dessert. Looks like the evening was a success. I hope that you were able to share a moment of it with Richard. Hope you didn't have to much trouble getting home. Can't wait to see the new photo blog.
HAPPY NEW YEAR, BABY GIRL!!!! Love you, Mom
